Mechanical Arm

In my journey through the world of 3D modeling, I've been exploring new horizons and taking on exciting challenges. At first, I wasn't really into hardsurface modeling, but as I got deeper into 3D, my interests started to change. This project really opened my eyes to the possibilities of hardsurface modeling, and it shows off my growing expertise in this field. I started by building the arm's basic structure, making sure the geometry was clean and precise. I used a bunch of different techniques like box modeling, edge beveling, and face extrusion to shape the different parts. I paid close attention to detail, making sure every joint, piston, and screw looked just right. Texturing and material creation were key to bringing the mechanical arm to life. I used procedural texturing techniques and Blender's awesome material editor to simulate different materials like metal, rubber, and plastic. It made the model look more realistic and added to its visual appeal. Lastly, I spent a lot of time perfecting the lighting and scene setup to make everything look even more realistic and immersive. I tried out different lighting setups and used HDR environments to create the right mood and atmosphere. It really made a difference in the final result.
